Ethics and Compliance Specialist (Investigations)

Reyes Holdings is seeking an Ethics and Compliance Specialist (Investigations) to join our team in O'Hare, Chicago. In this full-time position, you'll be at the forefront of maintaining our organization's ethical standards and regulatory compliance through skilled, thorough investigation and oversight.

About the Role

Reporting to the Director of Ethics and Compliance, you'll take ownership of internal investigations from intake through resolution. This role demands both independence and strong collaboration with field investigators, subject matter experts across Human Resources, Internal Audit, Safety, Department of Transportation, and Food Safety and Quality Assurance, as well as other departments as needed to ensure investigations are comprehensive and well-founded.

What You'll Do

• Initiate, direct, and oversee internal investigations while maintaining confidentiality and impartiality throughout the process
• Receive and assess allegations submitted through our Ethics Hotline, determining investigation scope and methodology
• Collaborate with field investigators and cross-functional teams to gather facts, interview witnesses, and develop findings
• Document investigation activities and maintain records according to legal and regulatory requirements
• Coordinate with specialists in safety, food quality, transportation compliance, and other domains to support thorough fact-finding
• Present investigation conclusions and recommendations to appropriate leadership and stakeholders

What We're Looking For

• Demonstrated experience in investigations, compliance, or related fields
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interview effectively and sensitively
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with meticulous attention to detail
• Ability to remain objective, impartial, and discreet in handling sensitive matters
• Experience navigating complex regulatory environments, particularly in food, distribution, or transportation industries (preferred)
• Organizational skills and ability to manage multiple investigations concurrently
• Willingness to work independently and collaboratively as circumstances require
