Siemens Healthineers is seeking a dedicated Engineering Technician III - Medical Diagnostic Instrument Service for our 1st shift operations. This is a full-time position supporting the service and maintenance of advanced medical diagnostic equipment across healthcare facilities throughout the United States.

As an Engineering Technician III specializing in medical diagnostic instrument service, you'll play a critical role in keeping essential healthcare technology operational. Your expertise will directly impact patient care by ensuring diagnostic equipment functions reliably and safely. What You'll Do

  • Service, repair, and maintain medical diagnostic instruments in healthcare facilities
  • Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshooting on complex diagnostic equipment
  • Diagnose equipment malfunctions and implement effective solutions
  • Follow established protocols and safety procedures to ensure compliance and patient safety
  • Document service activities and maintain detailed technical records
  • Collaborate with hospital engineering and clinical staff to coordinate equipment maintenance
  • Support the full lifecycle of diagnostic instrument operation from installation through end-of-life service

What We're Looking For

  • Technical certification or associate degree in electronics, engineering, or biomedical equipment technology, or equivalent hands-on experience
  • Proven experience servicing medical diagnostic instruments or comparable electronic medical devices
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to read technical schematics and service documentation
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
