Role Overview

The EHS Engineer at LT-Larsen & Toubro is tasked with implementing, monitoring, and continuously improving Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) management systems across gas handling and processing facilities. The role focuses on ensuring safe operations, regulatory compliance, risk management, emergency preparedness, and the promotion of a strong safety culture.

Responsibilities

• Implementing HSE policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local regulations and international standards.
• Maintaining and updating HSE documentation and records.
• Conducting risk assessments and developing mitigation strategies for potential hazards.
• Providing training and guidance on safety practices to employees.
• Managing emergency response plans and conducting drills.
• Collaborating with operational teams to ensure safe working conditions.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• Professional certifications such as CIEH, CIH, or similar are preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in HSE management in the oil and gas industry.
• Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
