The Opportunity

We are seeking a driven and innovative Engagement Architect to join our team at Coalfire. As the technical owner of client engagements, you will be responsible for leading the architecture build, security control implementation, and transition into managed operations for FedRAMP-compliant cloud environments. This role requires a deep understanding of cybersecurity challenges and the ability to innovate in a collaborative environment.

• Take a signed contract through architecture build, security control implementation, and verified transition into managed operations
• Owning active engagements with accountability for every technical outcome
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery of projects

Core Duties

Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Leading the design and implementation of FedRAMP-compliant cloud environments
• Ensuring compliance with all security controls and standards
• Collaborating with clients to understand their unique needs and challenges
• Providing technical guidance and support throughout the engagement lifecycle

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you must:

• HAVE a degree in Computer Science or related field
• HAVE 5+ years of experience in cloud architecture and FedRAMP compliance
• HAVE strong technical skills and knowledge of cybersecurity best practices
• BE proficient in cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
• HAVE excellent communication and collaboration skills
• HAVE a passion for innovation and operational excellence
