What This Role Involves

The Employment Relations Consultant will play a crucial role in supporting our leaders to create positive workplace experiences. You will provide trusted employment relations advice that supports our people and enables them to do their best work. As the first point of contact for employment relations guidance, you will be responsible for addressing queries, providing support, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

What You'll Do

• Provide trusted employment relations advice to managers and employees
• Assist in resolving workplace disputes and conflicts
• Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations
• Develop and deliver training programs on employment relations topics
• Conduct employee engagement surveys and provide analysis
• Support the implementation of policies and procedures related to employment relations

Requirements

• Degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or a relevant field
• Minimum 3 years' experience in employment relations or human resources
• Strong understanding of New Zealand (nationwide) (nationwide) employment laws and regulations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Aptitude for conflict resolution and negotiation
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
