Success depends on self-direction, reliable equipment set-up, and careful attention to privacy and content guidelines while remaining connected to the wider Perle team for coordination and support.

What You'll Do

• Record clear egocentric video sequences that capture naturalistic first-person viewpoints during routine activities
• Review each recording for focus, lighting, stability and relevance before submission
• Upload completed files securely and on time using the designated remote platforms
• Maintain an organised personal schedule so that daily or weekly contribution targets are met without supervision
• Follow all provided protocols covering framing, length, subject matter and ethical boundaries
• Report technical difficulties or clarifications promptly so collection quality remains high
• Safeguard personal and third-party privacy throughout every data-gathering session

Requirements

• Reliable high-speed internet connection suitable for large video uploads from a Malaysian location
• Access to a smartphone, action camera or similar device capable of steady first-person video capture
• Proven ability to manage time independently and deliver full-time remote output consistently
• Strong attention to detail when assessing video quality and adhering to written guidelines
• Basic comfort with mobile recording apps, file transfer tools and simple troubleshooting
• Clear written communication skills in English for status updates and queries
