Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Monitor security alerts, logs, and system health dashboards to identify anomalies, incidents, and performance issues
• Triage and respond to IT and security tickets, coordinating remediation and user communication as needed
• Support access management, including provisioning, reviews, and least-privilege practices
• Assist with vulnerability scanning, assessment tracking, and prioritization of remediation work
• Help maintain endpoint protection, patching discipline, and baseline configuration standards
• Document incidents, investigations, and procedural updates for repeatable operations
• Contribute to security awareness guidance and practical improvements that reduce risk for remote users
• Collaborate with technical stakeholders on network, identity, and application security considerations

What We're Looking For

• Solid background in IT support, systems administration, or information security analysis (or a strong combination of both)
• Working knowledge of networking fundamentals, operating systems (Windows and common enterprise platforms), and identity concepts
• Familiarity with security monitoring concepts, common attack patterns, and basic incident-response workflow
• Experience using ticketing systems, log or SIEM-style tools, and standard IT administration utilities
• Ability to analyze issues methodically, communicate findings clearly, and follow through on resolution
• Strong written and verbal communication skills suited to a distributed United States team
