About the Role

Future Hospitality Group is seeking a Duty Manager to join our team at Queenstown Ice Bar and Minus 5° ICE BAR. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a unique environment where you'll engage with international guests daily, assist them with their sub-zero experiences, and ensure they have memorable moments that last long after their visit.

What You'll Do

• Oversee the smooth operation of the bar during peak hours and manage staff for efficient service delivery.
• Assist guests in preparing for and enjoying sub-zero experiences, including helping them dress appropriately and ensuring safety measures are followed.
• Serve drinks from ice glasses and other frozen beverages to enhance guest experience.
• Ensure all areas of the bar meet high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
• Support team members with training and development opportunities to improve their skills and knowledge.

Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience in a supervisory role within hospitality or related industries.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• A deep understanding of customer service principles and the ability to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
• Knowledge of safety protocols, especially for working with ice and cold environments.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
