Role Overview

At our Cambridge village, you will be empowered to create a recreational programme for seniors living in a care supportive environment. Your role involves leading a culture of purposeful engagement which promotes dignity and independence through the therapeutic recreation process.

Your Responsibilities

• Create and implement personalized recreation plans tailored to individual residents' needs and interests.
• Organize and lead engaging activities that promote social interaction, physical well-being, and mental stimulation for seniors.
• Collaborate with other care professionals to ensure a holistic approach to resident care.
• Maintain accurate records of activities and progress to support continuous improvement in the programme.

Requirements

• A degree or diploma in Diversional Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or a related field.
• Experience working with seniors in a care setting is preferred but not essential.
• Demonstrated ability to plan and deliver engaging recreational activities.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships with residents and their families.
• A commitment to promoting dignity, independence, and quality of life for all residents.
