About the Role
As a part-time Activity Assistant on the Memory Care team, you'll help bring daily life to life. Working alongside the engagement and care staff, you'll deliver activities that spark connection, dignity, and a sense of belonging for residents in Elk Grove. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in planning, setting up, and leading engaging activities tailored to residents in Memory Care.
- Encourage participation and support residents through one-on-one and group programming.
- Foster a warm, respectful environment that honors each resident's history and preferences.
- Prepare materials, spaces, and supplies needed for daily events and outings.
- Collaborate with care and engagement team members to enrich the resident experience.
Qualifications
- A genuine passion for working with seniors, especially those living with memory-related conditions.
- Patience, empathy, and strong interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while showing initiative.
- Availability for a part-time schedule at the Elk Grove community.
