Director, Regional Sales

EDB is seeking a Director, Regional Sales to build and lead our sales presence in the Grandview Heights, Franklin County market. This full-time role offers the opportunity to drive enterprise adoption of our industry-leading Postgres data and AI platform across a region with significant growth potential.

About the Role

As Director of Regional Sales, you'll own all revenue growth and customer acquisition strategy for your territory. You'll work directly with enterprise clients to understand their infrastructure and data challenges, positioning EDB's cloud-agnostic platform as the solution for their transactional, analytical, and AI workloads. This is a hands-on leadership position where you'll both manage key accounts and oversee a high-performing sales team.

What You'll Do

• Build and execute a comprehensive regional sales strategy aligned with company objectives
• Develop and mentor a sales team, setting clear targets and providing coaching on enterprise deal cycles
• Lead prospecting and qualification activities targeting mid-market and enterprise customers
• Manage complex sales cycles from initial discovery through contract closure
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and customer success teams to ensure customer fit and satisfaction
• Maintain pipeline visibility and forecast accuracy for your region
• Represent EDB at industry events and within the Grandview Heights and Franklin County business community

What We're Looking For

• 7+ years of enterprise software sales experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership or management role
• Proven track record closing six-figure and multi-year contracts
• Demonstrated ability to build and lead high-performing sales organizations
• Deep understanding of data infrastructure, databases, or cloud technology markets
• Consultative selling approach with strong executive presence
• Willingness to be based in Grandview Heights, Franklin County and travel as needed
