Sr Materials Mgmt Analyst

Honeywell Aerospace is hiring a Sr Materials Analyst in Phoenix, Maricopa County. As a full-time member of our materials management team, you'll play a critical role in supporting our aerospace and defense operations with strategic materials planning, supplier coordination, and inventory optimization.

About the Role

This is a hands-on leadership position where you'll own materials strategy for aerospace manufacturing and assembly operations. You'll drive efficiency across our supply chain while maintaining the quality and compliance standards that aerospace demands. Your work directly supports the engineering and production teams building the technologies that power aviation and propulsion systems.

What You'll Do

• Develop and execute materials management strategies that align with production schedules and business objectives
• Manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and drive continuous improvement in cost and delivery performance
• Oversee inventory planning and control, optimizing stock levels while minimizing waste and shortages
• Analyze materials usage, spending patterns, and supply chain metrics to identify cost reduction and efficiency opportunities
• Ensure all materials meet aerospace quality standards, specifications, and regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and procurement teams to forecast demand and resolve sourcing challenges
• Maintain accurate records and reporting for materials data and compliance documentation

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of materials management, supply chain, or procurement experience in aerospace, defense, or manufacturing
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple suppliers and complex sourcing operations
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in materials planning and inventory systems
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Knowledge of aerospace quality standards (AS9100, AS9102) and regulatory requirements is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, materials science, engineering, or related field preferred
