Ascendis Pharma, a dynamic global biopharmaceutical innovator headquartered in Princeton, New Jersey, is hiring a Director of US Insights and Commercial Analytics to lead strategic data and market intelligence initiatives across our expanding US business. As a full-time leader in this role, you'll bridge data science and commercial strategy to drive informed decision-making in our Endocrinology Rare Disease and Oncology programs.

About the Role

In this pivotal position, you'll establish and lead a comprehensive analytics function that transforms complex market data and commercial insights into actionable strategy. Working closely with executive leadership, marketing, sales, and clinical teams, you'll develop frameworks that optimize our market positioning, commercial forecasting, and patient access strategies across the US. This role reports to senior commercial leadership and shapes how Ascendis leverages data to advance our competitive advantage in rare disease and oncology therapeutics.

What You'll Do

• Build and oversee a world-class analytics team focused on US commercial performance, market dynamics, and competitive intelligence
• Design and implement data infrastructure, dashboards, and reporting systems that support commercial and clinical decision-making
• Conduct deep market and customer segmentation analyses to inform launch strategies, pricing, and go-to-market planning
• Lead forecasting models and scenario analysis to guide resource allocation and growth strategy
• Partner with finance, R&D, and commercial teams to align analytics roadmap with corporate objectives
• Present insights and recommendations to the executive team with clarity and strategic context

What We're Looking For

• 10+ years of experience in commercial analytics, market intelligence, or business strategy, ideally in biopharmaceutical or healthcare
• Proven success building and leading high-performing analytics teams
• Advanced proficiency with data analytics platforms, SQL, and statistical modeling; experience with Python or R is a plus
• Demonstrated ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable business insights for executive stakeholders
• Strategic mindset with strong business acumen and understanding of pharmaceutical commercialization
• Excellent communication, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skills
