Director of Talent Acquisition

ExplorUS Corporate is hiring a Director of Talent Acquisition in Overland Park, Johnson County for this full-time leadership role. You'll lead high-volume recruiting efforts across multiple hospitality and retail locations while building sustainable recruiting systems that scale with business demands.

About the Role

This is a hands-on management position that combines strategic talent acquisition with active recruitment. You'll oversee the full hiring lifecycle for operational teams, seasonal staffing surges, and leadership positions. As a working director, you'll develop efficient recruiting processes designed to meet peak-season volume without sacrificing quality or compliance.

What You'll Do

• Lead talent acquisition strategy across multiple operating locations in hospitality and retail
• Actively source, screen, and interview candidates for hourly, seasonal, and management roles
• Build and maintain recruiting workflows that support high-volume hiring requirements
• Oversee recruiting team performance and establish best practices and training standards
• Collaborate with operations stakeholders to forecast staffing needs and planning cycles
• Develop recruitment pipelines and channel partnerships to strengthen talent sourcing
• Track recruiting metrics and adapt strategies to meet hiring timelines and quality targets

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of recruiting leadership experience, with demonstrated success in high-volume hiring environments
• Background in hospitality, retail, or similar operational hiring at scale
• Strong expertise in sourcing methods, candidate assessment, and employment compliance
• Proven track record building and managing recruiting teams
• Strategic mindset combined with hands-on execution capability
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage competing priorities
