About the Role
As Director of Field Operations, you'll own the day-to-day execution of utility construction projects, managing teams, timelines, budgets, and safety protocols. You'll report directly to senior leadership and have direct impact on project outcomes and company growth across our renewables, pipelines, and utility markets.
What You'll Do
- Direct field teams through planning, scheduling, and execution of utility construction projects
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulations, and company protocols on all jobsites
- Monitor project budgets, resource allocation, and cost control to meet financial targets
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and client stakeholders to deliver on time and on budget
- Identify operational improvements and implement systems to boost efficiency and quality
- Build and mentor a high-performing field operations team
- Report project status and performance metrics to leadership
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of field operations or construction management experience in utility, pipeline, or infrastructure work
- Proven track record leading field teams and delivering complex projects safely and on schedule
- Deep knowledge of construction safety standards, OSHA compliance, and risk management
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills under pressure
- Experience managing project budgets and financial performance
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
- Valid driver's license and willingness to spend time on active jobsites
