Join Lincoln County Public Hospital District 1 as a full-time Dietary Services Cook/Aide in Odessa. You'll play a vital role in patient care by preparing safe, nourishing meals in our dietary department while working under the direction of our Dietary Services Leader.

About the Role

As a Dietary Services Cook/Aide with Lincoln County Public Hospital District 1, you'll ensure every meal meets our hospital's standards for quality, nutrition, and safety. Working in our Odessa kitchen, you'll execute recipes with precision, adhere to all food safety regulations and hospital dietary policies, and maintain the standards that support patient recovery and wellness.

What You'll Do

• Prepare, cook, and portion meals according to established recipes and dietary guidelines
• Comply with food safety regulations, sanitation protocols, and hospital food service standards
• Coordinate with the Dietary Services Leader and team to meet daily meal preparation schedules
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in kitchen areas and food preparation spaces
• Support efficient dietary department operations in Odessa, Lincoln County

What We're Looking For

• Experience in food preparation and cooking, or demonstrated willingness to learn the craft
• Understanding of food safety principles and sanitation best practices
• Ability to follow recipes and instructions with accuracy and attention to detail
• Strong organizational and time-management skills in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable attendance and a collaborative, patient-focused attitude
