Dialysis RN – Resident – New Graduate

HealthTrust Workforce Solutions is hiring a full-time Dialysis RN – Resident – New Graduate in Fort Lewis, Salem. This is an excellent opportunity for newly licensed nurses to launch their career in renal nursing with structured clinical mentorship and support.

About the Role

As a Dialysis RN – Resident, you'll deliver direct patient care in a dialysis center while completing a structured residency program. You'll work alongside experienced preceptors who guide you through the transition from graduate to practicing nurse, building clinical confidence and competency in dialysis nursing.

What You'll Do

• Provide direct nursing care to patients undergoing hemodialysis treatment
• Monitor vital signs, assess patient status, and respond to clinical changes during dialysis sessions
• Perform venipuncture and manage vascular access according to established protocols
• Safely operate dialysis equipment and respond to technical or clinical alarms
• Maintain thorough, accurate patient documentation and care records
• Implement infection control practices and maintain a safe treatment environment
• Educate patients about their condition, treatment plan, and self-management strategies
• Communicate and collaborate with physicians, nurses, technicians, and interdisciplinary team members
• Participate in quality improvement and unit-based clinical initiatives

What We're Looking For

• Current unrestricted RN license in Oregon, Washington, or eligibility to obtain one
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program within the past 12 months
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Commitment to patient safety and quality outcomes
• Physical ability to perform the full scope of nursing duties
• Openness to learning and professional development
