About the Role

We are seeking a talented and experienced Design Lead to join our consumer platform team. As a key member of the design leadership group, you will be responsible for driving the visual identity and user experience across all digital touchpoints, ensuring that Maven's mission is communicated effectively through our brand and products.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
• Develop and maintain a consistent visual style across all consumer-facing platforms
• Conduct user research and testing to inform the design process
• Create and manage design systems and style guides
• Work closely with product managers, developers, and other designers to ensure seamless integration of designs into the overall product strategy
• Ensure all designs meet accessibility standards and guidelines

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Design Lead or equivalent role in consumer-facing products
• Demonstrated ability to lead design teams and manage projects from concept to launch
• Strong portfolio showcasing your work in digital product design, including branding, UI/UX, and visual identity
• Familiarity with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe Creative Suite
• Experience working on remote teams and managing distributed design teams
• A deep understanding of user-centered design principles and accessibility best practices
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
