Key Responsibilities

• Enforce Federal and State statutes, Jackson County ordinances, and municipal codes
• Investigate criminal activity and gather evidence at incident scenes
• Locate and apprehend suspects in accordance with legal procedures
• Respond to emergency and non-emergency calls for service
• Conduct preliminary investigations and prepare detailed incident reports
• Patrol assigned areas to deter crime and maintain visible law enforcement presence
• Interact professionally with community members, witnesses, and other agencies
