About the Role

AnaVation is seeking a Deputy Program Manager to join our customer's mission in Reston, Virginia. The role will support the Program Manager in executing duties related to personnel management, process oversight, and day-to-day operations for multi-agency 24x7x365 cybersecurity event monitoring and intermediate cyber threat analysis.

• Support technical team leads
• Recruit and retain staff
• Prepare monthly contract and financial status reports
• Ensure deliverable document schedules and quality
• Provide senior-level consulting, advisory, and support services as needed
• Identify options with recommendations or implementation of solutions
• Manage risk, schedule, and backlog assessment boards to inform Integrated Master Schedule generation
• Support customer briefings and meetings from daily operational briefings to strategic presentations
• Potential to lead or support innovation projects initially defined by the role

What You'll Do

The Deputy Program Manager will play a crucial leadership role in managing personnel, processes, and day-to-day activities. The position requires a strong background in cybersecurity operations, project management, and team leadership. This individual must be prepared to support the Program Manager in executing duties related to technical oversight, staff retention, financial reporting, and document quality assurance.

Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in cybersecurity operations or a related field
• Experience with 24x7x365 cybersecurity event monitoring and intermediate cyber threat analysis
• Proven track record in personnel management, process oversight, and day-to-day operations
• Strong leadership skills to support technical team leads and manage staff retention
• Ability to prepare monthly contract and financial status reports
• Experience with deliverable document schedules and quality assurance
• Proven thought leadership, expertise, and specialized skills in creating value and enhancing capabilities across the Federal Government and industry
• Able to identify options with recommendations or implementation of solutions
• Manage risk, schedule, and backlog assessment boards for Integrated Master Schedule generation
• Prepare for customer briefings and meetings from daily operational briefings to strategic presentations
