Evansville Family Dentistry is hiring a full-time Dental Office Assistant – Business Assistant in Knight, Vanderburgh County, to keep our front office running smoothly while delivering a warm, welcoming experience to every patient who walks through our doors.

About the Role

As the Business Assistant at Evansville Family Dentistry, you will be the friendly first point of contact for our practice and a vital connector between our patients and clinical team. This on-site role in Knight, Vanderburgh County supports the day-to-day business operations of the office and helps cultivate the collaborative, team-focused culture that lets us provide outstanding lifetime care.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome patients, manage check-in and check-out, and ensure a positive front-desk experience.
• Schedule, confirm, and coordinate patient appointments to keep the practice efficient.
• Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and handle patient correspondence professionally.
• Maintain accurate patient records and assist with administrative documentation.
• Support billing, insurance verification, and payment processing tasks.
• Partner with the clinical team to meet both the business and patient-care needs of the office.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a genuine, patient-first attitude.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a busy office.
• Comfortable working with scheduling software, phones, and standard office technology.
• A reliable team player who thrives in a supportive, culture-driven environment.
• Prior dental, medical, or front-office administrative experience is helpful but not required.
