Amazon Web Services is hiring a Delivery Consultant specializing in generative AI, machine learning, and data science for our Professional Services team in San Francisco. In this full-time, on-site role, you'll work directly with enterprise customers to design, build, and launch sophisticated AI/ML and analytics solutions on AWS—turning their strategic objectives into production-ready cloud architectures.
About the Role
As a Delivery Consultant, you'll lead customer engagements across the entire project lifecycle. You'll translate complex business requirements into technical AWS solutions, oversee implementation, and ensure customers achieve measurable outcomes. This is a hands-on position where you balance strategic planning with deep technical execution, working alongside solutions architects, engineers, and customer stakeholders to remove obstacles and accelerate success.
What You'll Do
- Partner with customers to define machine learning and data science strategies aligned with their business goals
- Design end-to-end solutions using AWS AI/ML services, data platforms, and generative AI technologies
- Lead solution implementations, manage project scope and timelines, and ensure technical quality
- Conduct workshops and training sessions to build customer capability and adoption
- Collaborate with AWS solutions architects, support teams, and customer technical leads to resolve blockers
- Share lessons learned and best practices across customer engagements and internal teams
What We're Looking For
- Hands-on experience implementing machine learning, data engineering, or analytics solutions in production environments
- Proficiency with AWS services such as SageMaker, AWS Glue, Athena, QuickSight, or similar data and ML platforms
- Understanding of generative AI and large language model applications and limitations
- Strong technical foundation in Python, SQL, or similar languages
- Proven ability to communicate complex technical concepts to business and technical audiences
- Experience consulting with enterprise clients or leading cross-functional technical projects
