What This Role Involves

The Cybersecurity Architect – Engineer at Anavation will provide technical leadership for mission-critical customers in San Antonio, Texas. The role involves monitoring, analyzing, and detecting cybersecurity events and incidents within information systems and networks under general supervision. Key responsibilities include:

• Designing, developing, implementing, and integrating DoD IA architectures, systems, or system components for use within computing, network, and enclave environments.
• Assisting with integrated dynamic Cyber defense by coordinating and maintaining security toolsets to support organizations' continuous monitoring and ongoing authorization programs.
• Establishing a framework for measuring cyber risk through the determination of security requirements and preparation of cost estimates.
• Evaluating business strategies and requirements, researching information security standards, conducting system security vulnerability analyses, and risk assessments.
• Studying architecture/platform and identifying integration issues.

Key Responsibilities

Other duties include implementing security systems by specifying intrusion detection methodologies and equipment, directing equipment and software installation and calibration, preparing preventive and reactive measures. The role requires a proactive approach to cybersecurity challenges and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• HIGHLY experienced Cyber Security Architect/Engineer with a proven track record of success.
• Technical leadership for mission-critical customers, providing support to monitor, analyze, and detect cybersecurity events and incidents within information systems and networks under general supervision.
• Experience in designing, developing, implementing, and integrating DoD IA architectures, systems, or system components for use within computing, network, and enclave environments.
• Proficiency in coordinating and maintaining security toolsets to support organizations' continuous monitoring and ongoing authorization programs.
• Ability to establish a framework by which cyber risk can be measured through the determination of security requirements and preparation of cost estimates.
