About the Role
As a Custodial Specialist III, you'll take ownership of maintaining pristine, hygienic facilities that reflect our ministry's commitment to excellence. This full-time position offers $21–$25.50 per hour, based on your experience and qualifications.
What You'll Do
- Execute comprehensive cleaning, sanitization, and maintenance across our Shoreline facilities
- Manage specialized floor care tasks—stripping, waxing, polishing—to preserve aesthetic and functional standards
- Operate custodial equipment and systems in compliance with safety and manufacturer guidelines
- Conduct daily inspections to monitor cleanliness levels and identify maintenance needs
- Prepare and handle cleaning chemicals safely, following all regulatory and workplace standards
- Coordinate with facilities leadership and building users to address requests and concerns
- Mentor and support junior staff members in custodial practices and standards
What We're Looking For
- Substantial experience in custodial or facilities management, ideally at a Specialist III or comparable advanced level
- Expertise in cleaning techniques, floor care, equipment operation, and chemical safety
- A track record of reliability, punctuality, and consistent quality performance
- Self-directed work habits with strong time management across multiple facility priorities
- Physical capability for sustained manual labor, including lifting and extended standing
- Dedication to workplace safety and regulatory compliance
