What You'll Do

• Plan, prepare, and serve age-appropriate meals, snacks, and beverages aligned with childcare nutrition standards
• Accommodate dietary restrictions, allergies, and special nutritional needs with precision and attention
• Maintain proper food safety, sanitation, and storage procedures to meet health regulations
• Monitor inventory, order supplies, and manage kitchen operations to support daily operations
• Coordinate with center staff to understand children's preferences and nutritional requirements
• Keep accurate records of meals prepared and dietary accommodations provided
• Maintain kitchen organization and cleanliness to meet all compliance standards

What We're Looking For

• Experience in food service or cooking within a childcare or educational setting
• Knowledge of child nutrition, food preparation, and food safety practices
• Ability to manage multiple meal preparations daily while maintaining quality and timing
• Strong organizational and communication skills to work with diverse team members
• Physical capability to stand, lift, and work in a kitchen environment for full shifts
