Heavy Equipment Operators

Warren Paving is hiring Heavy Equipment Operators for our operations in Lola, Livingston County. In this full-time role, you'll operate essential heavy equipment to support our aggregate production and ensure efficient material handling from quarry through delivery.

About the Role

As a Heavy Equipment Operator at Warren Paving, you'll take the controls of large wheel front-end loaders and other specialized machinery in our quarry operations. Your work directly impacts our ability to produce and deliver quality aggregate throughout the region. You'll be responsible for critical tasks that keep our operations running safely and productively every day.

What You'll Do

• Operate large wheel front-end loaders in quarry and material handling operations
• Feed raw material to crushing equipment at appropriate rates and volumes
• Load finished materials and processed aggregate into trucks and off-road trailers for shipment
• Create and maintain organized stockpiles of different material types and sizes
• Sort and separate aggregate by grade and specification
• Execute high-wall operations and material placement accurately and safely
• Conduct pre-shift equipment inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
• Maintain a secure work environment and follow all safety protocols

What We're Looking For

• Experience operating heavy equipment, particularly wheel loaders in quarry or aggregate settings
• Knowledge of safe work practices in heavy equipment and aggregate operations
• Ability to commit to full-time work with early morning shift availability
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to equipment condition
• Reliable attendance and willingness to meet production schedules
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment
• Commitment to following safety procedures and best practices
