Position Summary

The Contracts Specialist within the Business and Product Operations (BPO) team at AWS will play a crucial role in supporting our global operations. This position involves drafting, negotiating, and managing contracts to ensure compliance with legal standards and company policies.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Draft, negotiate, and manage various types of contracts, including service agreements, vendor contracts, and licensing agreements.
• Ensure all contracts comply with AWS’s policies and legal requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and objectives.
• Conduct due diligence and risk assessments for new contracts.
• Provide contract management support, including tracking contract performance and renewals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Law or Business Administration; JD preferred but not required.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in contract management or related field.
• Strong understanding of legal principles, particularly in the context of cloud services and technology contracts.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
