About the Role

As Contracts Manager for Government & Commercial Contracts, you'll serve as a subject matter expert driving contract leadership across our diverse project portfolio. You'll own contract strategy, negotiation, and performance oversight for programs spanning both government and commercial sectors. Beyond contracting, you'll manage program property oversight and serve as a central point of coordination within our Government Projects organization, ensuring seamless execution across teams.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and execute contract strategies for government and commercial projects within the Power Conversion and Storage portfolio
  • Negotiate complex contracts with government agencies and commercial partners, balancing risk and opportunity
  • Oversee contract compliance, performance metrics, and change management throughout project lifecycles
  • Manage program property and asset oversight responsibilities
  • Coordinate across internal teams and external stakeholders to resolve contract challenges and support deal closure
  • Provide expert guidance on government contracting regulations, commercial terms, and best practices
  • Monitor contract health, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience managing contracts in government and commercial environments
  • Deep knowledge of government contracting processes, regulations, and compliance requirements
  • Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills with internal and external partners
  • Ability to analyze complex agreements and identify commercial and legal implications
  • Demonstrated expertise in contract administration, property management, or related areas
  • Excellent communication and organizational capabilities
  • Bachelor's degree in law, business, or related field (or equivalent professional experience)
