About the Role

As a Direct Support Person (DSP) with My Life My Home in Mascoutah, you'll walk alongside the people we serve, helping each person pursue a life that feels meaningful and full. Our CILA homes are intimate settings of four to six residents, where you'll provide hands-on care and daily encouragement while honoring every individual's unique goals, preferences, and dignity. This is rewarding, people-first work for someone who wants to make a real difference every day.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, attentive care and personal support to residents within their home environment.
• Assist individuals with everyday routines and activities of daily living.
• Champion each person's independence, choices, and individuality.
• Foster a warm, respectful, and supportive atmosphere across the CILA home.
• Support residents in working toward a satisfying and self-directed life.

Qualifications

• A sincere passion for serving and uplifting people with disabilities.
• Patience, empathy, and strong interpersonal skills.
• Dependability and a commitment to person-centered support.
• Willingness to work on-site in Mascoutah, Saint Clair County (this is not a remote position).
• Comfort assisting with daily living tasks in a residential setting.
