About This Position

The Community Manager’s primary responsibility and role is to serve as the point of contact for the managing property and stakeholders. Key duties include providing leadership and direct supervision of staff, delivering superb customer service, and managing all aspects of apartment community operations under their portfolio.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Implementing the annual business plan for the property
• Ensuring compliance with HUD regulations and policies
• Managing day-to-day operations including maintenance requests, tenant relations, and financial reporting
• Supervising and training staff to ensure high standards of service are met
• Facilitating communication between residents, management, and stakeholders

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Community Management, or related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Community Manager in HUD-affordable housing properties
• Strong leadership and supervisory skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and property management software
• Experience with HUD reporting and compliance
