What This Role Involves
You'll be responsible for the complete revenue cycle—from initial prospect outreach through contract signature—working with established marketing support and inside sales coordination. Your focus will be identifying firms ready for digital transformation and demonstrating how 8am's integrated platform streamlines their operations, improves profitability, and enables better client service. This is a consultative sales position where you'll dig into each prospect's specific challenges and position solutions that directly impact their bottom line.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute the full sales pipeline for new SMB accounts, including qualifying leads, conducting product demonstrations, and negotiating agreements to closure
- Develop deep knowledge of 8am's software capabilities and the competitive environment to articulate differentiated value in every conversation
- Translate customer pain points into measurable return on investment and business outcomes
- Cultivate lasting client partnerships that generate repeat revenue, positive referrals, and long-term retention
What We're Looking For
- Minimum one year of enterprise or consultative B2B sales experience with demonstrated deal-closing success (SaaS background strongly preferred)
- Proven comfort with cold outreach and ability to convert initial conversations into qualified sales opportunities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills across all professional contexts
- Self-directed work ethic with genuine enthusiasm for sales and revenue growth
- Consultative selling approach—ability to reframe how prospects think about business efficiency and growth
- Organized mindset with resilience to succeed in a fast-growing, dynamic sales environment
- Preference for candidates based in one of 8am's hub markets, including Austin
