What This Role Involves
We are seeking a CDL-A Part-Time Driver to join our team at PWM TRUCKING LLC. As a Professional Driver with C&S Wholesale Grocers, you will be responsible for delivering goods safely and efficiently while adhering to company policies and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Pick up and deliver goods from various locations as per the schedule provided by the company
- Maintain a clean and safe driving record, following all traffic laws and regulations
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards
- Adhere to company policies and procedures for loading, unloading, and securing cargo
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members to ensure smooth operations
- Participate in training sessions provided by a Professional Driver Trainer (PDT) to enhance driving skills and knowledge of the C&S Way
Requirements
- Holding a valid Class A CDL license with appropriate endorsements
- A clean driving record without any major traffic violations in the past 3 years
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and background check
