What This Role Involves

The role of a Class A CDL Company Driver with U.S. Xpress involves operating dry van trucks for over-the-road (OTR) transportation. Drivers will be responsible for 52-56 cycles per month, averaging 2,000 miles per week. Solo OTR drivers can expect to run 28 days out and get 5 days home.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive dry van trucks on planned routes
• Ensure compliance with all traffic laws and company policies
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of the vehicle
• Handle freight in a safe, efficient manner
• Maintain accurate records and logs

What You Bring

• A valid Class A CDL with appropriate endorsements (if required)
• 1-5 months of OTR driving experience
• Strong attention to detail for logbook entries and safety checks
• Ability to work independently and manage a consistent schedule
