Position Summary
We are seeking experienced Class A CDL Company Drivers for our Over the Road (OTR) Dry Van team at U.S. Xpress. This role offers a competitive pay structure based on experience and a sign-on bonus to welcome you aboard.
- Average 2,000 Miles Per Week
- 100% No Touch Freight
- Predictable Schedule with Consistent Home Time
- Performance Bonuses Available for Top 20%
- $1,500 Weekly Run (for 28 days out)
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Drive solo OTR routes in dry van trucks
- Maintain safe and efficient driving practices
- Follow company policies and procedures
- Ensure timely delivery of freight to designated locations
- Perform pre- and post-trip inspections on vehicles
Skills & Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with appropriate endorsements
- 1-5 months OTR driving experience preferred but not required
- Prior experience in dry van operations is a plus
- Avoidance of moving violations and accidents
- Strong communication skills for interacting with dispatch and customers
