About the Role

As a Claim Examiner with Sedgwick, you'll play a critical role in our claims management operations. You'll examine and evaluate general liability and product liability claims across multi-state jurisdictions, ensuring accurate coverage determinations and fair claim resolutions. This position combines investigative analysis with policy interpretation, requiring both technical knowledge and strong communication skills.

What You'll Do

• Review and analyze claim documentation, including incident reports, medical records, and police reports
• Investigate claims to determine coverage applicability and policy limits
• Assess damages and establish appropriate claim reserves
• Communicate with claimants, attorneys, medical providers, and adjusters to gather information and provide updates
• Interpret policy language and apply coverage terms to claim facts
• Make coverage decisions and prepare claim determinations
• Handle claims across multiple states within assigned territory
• Maintain detailed claim files and documentation

What We're Looking For

• Current or ability to obtain required state licensing for claim examination
