Key Responsibilities
- Handle civil litigation matters across the full case lifecycle, from initial assessment through trial and resolution.
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and other legal documents with accuracy and clear legal reasoning.
- Represent clients in hearings, depositions, mediations, and court proceedings.
- Conduct legal research and develop case strategy aligned with client objectives.
- Communicate regularly with clients, opposing counsel, and the court to keep matters moving efficiently.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school is required.
- Active North Carolina law license in good standing.
- Demonstrated experience in civil litigation and courtroom practice.
- Strong written and verbal advocacy, research, and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage a caseload independently while collaborating across multiple office locations.
