About the Role
As a Child Support Specialist I/II with Oklahoma Human Services in Tulsa, you will play a central part in opening, managing, and advancing child support enforcement cases. This is a full-time, on-site position designed for someone who thrives on detail-oriented casework and is committed to serving Oklahoma's children and families. The role is offered at two levels, with annual compensation of $36,811.95 at Level I (H30A) and $39,571.76 at Level II (H30B), each accompanied by the full slate of State of Oklahoma employee benefits.
Key Responsibilities
- Initiate new child support cases and shepherd them through the enforcement process from intake to resolution.
- Review case documentation, gather relevant information, and ensure records remain accurate and current.
- Coordinate with families, agencies, and other stakeholders to keep cases moving forward.
- Travel occasionally as job duties require to support case-related work.
Qualifications
- A genuine commitment to public service and supporting Oklahoma families.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail when handling casework and documentation.
- A valid driver's license, with the ability to maintain the required automobile insurance.
- Willingness to travel occasionally as the role demands.
