Position Summary
To Proudly Go Inc. is seeking a Chief Development Officer to lead and expand our fundraising efforts in support of LGBTQIA organizations working on queer issues that help build a better world today. Our mission draws inspiration from science fiction, particularly Star Trek, emphasizing the power of generosity and compassion to achieve unity and purpose for all.
What You'll Do
- Leverage relationships with donors and partners to secure funding for LGBTQIA initiatives.
- Develop and implement strategic fundraising plans aligned with organizational goals.
- Analyze financial data to inform development strategies and maximize resources.
- Collaborate with the executive team to ensure alignment between fundraising activities and overall mission.
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years experience in nonprofit or corporate development roles.
- Demonstrated success in securing major gifts and grants from foundations, corporations, and individuals.
- Proven track record of building strong relationships with key stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
