About the Role
We are currently seeking a passionate and skilled Chef to join our team at CYCHO’s Buffalo Wings. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring that all food is prepared and served with the highest quality standards. This role involves managing daily operations in the kitchen, overseeing a team of chefs and cooks, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
- Prepare and cook high-quality meals for customers
- Ensure all dishes meet our restaurant's standards and customer expectations
- Manage inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Train and mentor kitchen staff to improve their skills and performance
- Adhere to health and safety regulations, food hygiene practices, and company policies
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Preparation of a wide range of dishes including buffalo wings, burgers, fried chicken, loaded fries, hotdogs, and other comfort foods
- Incorporation of house-made sauces with international influences to enhance the dining experience
- Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment at all times
- Collaborating with the front-of-house team to ensure smooth operations during peak hours
- Implementing cost-saving measures while maintaining high-quality standards
What We're Looking For
We are seeking a candidate who possesses:
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in the culinary industry, preferably with a focus on fast-casual or casual dining establishments
- Strong knowledge and understanding of food safety regulations and practices
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to effectively manage kitchen staff
- A creative approach to menu development and innovation in the kitchen
- Experience with inventory management and cost control
