About the Role
Park City Surgery Center is a specialized ambulatory surgical facility dedicated to orthopedic procedures. As a Certified Surgical Technician, you'll be essential to the operating room team, ensuring surgical excellence, patient safety, and operational efficiency at our Oakley, Summit County location.
What You'll Do
- Prepare and manage sterile surgical fields, instruments, and equipment for orthopedic cases
- Assist surgeons during operations, passing instruments and supplies with precision and anticipation
- Maintain accurate counts of instruments, sponges, and surgical supplies throughout procedures
- Monitor and uphold patient safety protocols during surgical cases
- Sterilize and properly maintain surgical instruments and equipment to facility standards
- Coordinate with anesthesia, nursing, and surgical teams to optimize case flow and efficiency
- Demonstrate unwavering commitment to sterile technique and infection prevention
What We're Looking For
- Current Certified Surgical Technician (CST) credential
- Proven experience working in an operating room or surgical center environment
- Knowledge of orthopedic surgical procedures and instrumentation
- Strong attention to detail and ability to function effectively in a demanding pace
