This is a full-time CDL A Truck Driver position based out of Ankeny, Polk County, running over-the-road (OTR) freight across the Midwest and nationwide lanes. K&B Transportation is expanding in your area and looking for dependable Class A professionals who take pride in safe, on-time deliveries while enjoying a reliable weekly home-time schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a Class A tractor-trailer safely on regional Midwest and national OTR routes.
• Transport and deliver freight accurately and on schedule.
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Maintain compliance with all DOT, FMCSA, and hours-of-service regulations.
• Keep accurate logs and required driving documentation.
• Communicate consistently with dispatch to ensure smooth, timely runs.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A).
• Verifiable over-the-road driving experience.
• Clean and safety-focused driving record.
• Commitment to professionalism, reliability, and on-time performance.
