Freymiller is seeking a CDL‑A Company Truck Driver for over‑the‑road routes based in Bellflower, Los Angeles County.

About the Role

This full‑time position involves operating company‑owned tractor‑trailer equipment on long‑haul routes across the United States. Drivers are expected to maintain safe driving practices, adhere to federal and state transportation regulations, and deliver freight on schedule while representing Freymiller’s commitment to service excellence.

What You'll Do

• Operate a CDL‑A qualified tractor‑trailer to transport goods over‑the‑road, following assigned routes and delivery windows.
• Perform pre‑trip, en‑route, and post‑trip vehicle inspections, completing required documentation and reporting any mechanical issues.
• Secure and monitor cargo loading and unloading, ensuring proper weight distribution and compliance with safety standards.
• Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, mileage, fuel purchases, and inspection reports in accordance with DOT regulations.
• Communicate regularly with dispatchers and customer service representatives to provide updates on shipment status and any delays.
• Adhere to company policies regarding hours of service, vehicle maintenance, and safe driving practices.
• Participate in ongoing training programs to stay current on industry standards, safety protocols, and operational procedures.
• Represent Freymiller professionally at customer sites, rest stops, and during roadside inspections.

What We're Looking For

• Valid CDL‑A license with a clean driving record and at least six months of recent over‑the‑road experience.
• Ability to pass DOT physical examinations and maintain compliance with all medical certification requirements.
• Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELDs) and basic vehicle maintenance procedures.
• Strong commitment to safety, reliability, and on‑time delivery performance.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work independently while staying connected with dispatch.
• Willingness to spend extended periods away from home, with typical home time scheduled according to company guidelines.
• Basic math and reading skills necessary for completing logs, bills of lading, and inspection reports.
• Professional demeanor and a customer‑focused attitude when interacting with clients and the public.
