Role Overview
We are currently recruiting caregivers, nurses, and other related healthcare professionals for casual shifts in the Nelson / Tasman region. This role offers flexible healthcare work that can fit around your personal life.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, toileting, meal-times etc)
- Assist with mobility, transfers and safely operating hoists
- Support in maintaining a clean and safe environment for the residents
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in caregiving or nursing roles is preferred but not essential
- A caring and compassionate approach to work with residents
- Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and other healthcare professionals
- Basic first aid knowledge and understanding of safety protocols
