The Opportunity

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as a Care Service Employee on a casual basis. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in your community while gaining valuable experience in a supportive environment.

• Provide care and support services to residents, ensuring their well-being and comfort
• Assist with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, and transportation needs
• Support the implementation of care plans and participate in regular team meetings
• Contribute to a positive and inclusive community atmosphere for all residents

Core Duties

The primary responsibilities include:

• Assisting with personal care needs, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Preparing nutritious meals and snacks as required
• Supporting residents in maintaining a clean and safe living environment
• Participating in recreational activities to promote social interaction and well-being
• Maintaining accurate records of resident care and progress

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A compassionate attitude towards the elderly or those requiring care services
• Basic first aid knowledge (desirable)
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Flexibility to work varying shifts including weekends and public holidays
• A valid driver's license with a clean record (if applicable)
