Cardiac Electrophysiology Technician – Part-Time

Position Summary

We are currently seeking a Cardiac Electrophysiology Technician to join our cardiac catheterisation laboratory team in the Central Coast region of NSW. This is a permanent part-time position with 16-24 hours per week, working on Monday, Thursday, and Friday.

Responsibilities

• Support complex electrophysiology procedures within the cardiac catheterisation laboratory
• Assist in the preparation of patients for electrophysiology studies and interventions
• Contribute to the overall efficiency and smooth operation of the laboratory
• Ensure adherence to all relevant safety protocols and regulatory requirements

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Cardiac Electrophysiology Technician or in a related field
• Thorough understanding of cardiac electrophysiology principles and procedures
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and maintain composure during complex procedures
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in using medical equipment and software relevant to the role
