About the Role

We are seeking a Field Service Technician to join our dynamic team in Newcastle. As a Field Service Technician at Komatsu Australia Pty Ltd, you will be responsible for ensuring that our customers' equipment operates efficiently and safely. Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance checks on various types of Komatsu machinery
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic faults
• Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance
• Provide technical support to customers and assist in the resolution of any issues
• Maintain accurate records of service work performed
• Keep up-to-date with new technologies and product developments from Komatsu

Who We're Looking For

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Field Service Technician who possesses the following qualifications:

• A minimum of 3 years' experience in field service or mechanical engineering
• Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Technology, or related field is preferred but not essential
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with customers and colleagues
• A valid driver's license and ability to travel to various job sites within the Newcastle region
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
