About the Role
As a CAD Drafter/Designer at Evapco, you'll translate engineering concepts and specifications into precise, production-ready technical drawings and 3D models. This position offers the opportunity to work alongside our engineering team while developing your design and technical skills in a collaborative manufacturing environment.
What You'll Do
- Create detailed CAD models and technical drawings based on written specifications and verbal direction from engineers
- Collaborate with engineering staff and project coordinators to clarify design intent and resolve technical challenges
- Ensure drawings meet company standards, industry specifications, and manufacturing requirements
- Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve documentation
- Update and maintain design files and documentation throughout the project lifecycle
What We're Looking For
- Proficiency in CAD software and ability to create 2D drawings and 3D models
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in technical work
- Self-motivated approach with the ability to manage multiple projects
- Clear communication skills and willingness to collaborate with engineers and team members
- Technical aptitude and ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Experience in manufacturing, mechanical design, or a related technical field is a plus
