Odyssey Systems Consulting Group, Ltd. is seeking a Principal Acquisition Analyst for our Colorado Springs, El Paso County office. You'll bring deep expertise in defense acquisition strategy and contract management to support critical operations for the Missile Defense Agency.
About the Role
This full-time position puts you at the center of the Command, Control, Battle Management and Communications (C2BMC) program. You'll apply your extensive acquisition background to shape strategy, manage program performance, and ensure cost and schedule discipline across complex DoD contracts and initiatives.
What You'll Do
- Analyze and monitor contract performance metrics including cost, schedule, and technical compliance
- Develop and refine acquisition strategies aligned with program objectives and regulatory requirements
- Support program managers and leadership with data-driven cost and schedule assessments
- Identify acquisition risks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement
- Prepare comprehensive program reports and analyses for decision-makers
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure program success and stakeholder alignment
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in Department of Defense acquisition processes and best practices
- Strong analytical skills with expertise in cost analysis, scheduling, and performance management
- Ability to interpret complex contract terms and evaluate contractor performance
- Excellent communication skills for technical and executive audiences
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, finance, or related field (or equivalent professional experience)
