About the Role
An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced operational and commercial leader to oversee a portfolio of specialised engineering and service businesses based in South East Victoria. Reporting to the General Manager, you will drive growth, operational performance, customer outcomes, and profitability across multiple business units.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive strategic growth initiatives for the business units under your purview
- Enhance operational efficiency and productivity through process improvement and innovation
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention by delivering exceptional outcomes
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and partners
- Monitor financial performance to ensure profitability targets are met or exceeded
- Lead a team of professionals, providing mentorship and guidance for their development and success
Requirements
- A proven track record in operational and commercial leadership roles within the engineering or service industries
- Demonstrated experience in driving growth and profitability across multiple business units
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels of the organisation
- Proven capability in process improvement and innovation
- Excellent leadership qualities, including the ability to mentor and develop team members
- A hands-on approach to problem-solving and decision-making
- Experience working within a fast-paced, dynamic environment
