About the Role

This Litigation Partner opportunity sits with one of California's largest and most respected legal practices — an Am Law 200, full-service firm with more than five decades of standing in the legal community. The position is full-time and based in Sacramento, and is not remote. It is well suited to a partner-level litigator with a portable book of business of approximately $500,000 who is prepared to lead high-stakes matters and grow alongside a prominent team.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and litigate complex business and commercial disputes from intake through resolution
• Advise clients on labor and employment matters, including representation in related litigation
• Develop case strategy, oversee discovery, and handle motion practice, hearings, and trial work
• Cultivate and expand client relationships while transitioning an existing book of business
• Mentor associates and collaborate with colleagues across the firm's practice groups

Qualifications

• Active admission to the California State Bar and good standing
• Substantial litigation experience in business & commercial and labor & employment law
• A demonstrated, portable book of business of roughly $500,000
• A track record of partner-level performance, client development, and courtroom results
• Strong leadership, advocacy, and client-counseling skills

Compensation

The firm offers a competitive compensation package in the range of $300,000 to $500,000 per year, commensurate with experience and book of business.
